Procrastination Later App #1 going to Apple Sept 30

I read a great post by the creator of one of my favorite apps, YNAB (You Need A Budget) that has really got me thinking. I started Procrastination Later with a very simple app idea which ended up with a MASSIVE feature list.

Taking care of my 16 month old daughter while keeping up with the massive workload I have at my job, I haven't had enough time to make my application do any features besides the one piece of core functionality I started with.

After reading the blog post I referenced above, I have decided one thing: on September 30, 2010 I will be submitting my app to the App Store in the current state it is in.

If that means it only does one thing I originally intended it to do, so be it. If I get a chance to add in new features before then, so be it.

I am seriously considering charging 99 cents for it, rather than making it free. Then adding functionality over time, hopefully building up to the point that I implement all the features on the original list users actually want. And if things go well, some things not on the list users want.

Procrastination Later?

Welcome to the blog of Procrastination Later. We focus on developing things that are useful, fun, and hopefully both!

Why "Procatination Later?"

The initial focus of Procrastination Later will be productivity applications & games for the iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad.

So, what's next?
We're already making great progress on the first product which is a simple productivity application that provides a fun way to make you aware of how you are spending your time. It should be ready to submit to the App Store within the next month.
